                                                                       The Blonde Morel.
     Simply delicious!

I have two other blogs,
the first one, (the title of my book)
A Visual Guide For Harvesting Mushrooms,
avisualguideforharvestingmushrooms.blogspot.com..
The  second one is,
amomentinmyshoes.blobspot.com...
I have posted pictures of Mushrooms we (my husband & I) have harvested.
Pictures of our traveling while going to & from a picking area.
A few road trips with or for one of our kids, we have 5, all over the age of 20 years..
My Bio is listed on those as well.

I do twitter, Boletasaurus is my name.
I am on youtube also, mushroomwhisperer...
I have Steel Head in Spawning Grounds, Great videos, A Deer Fence I use every year ( out of recycled pieces), mushroom videos and wild life & things.
I am on Facebook as well as my husband, David.

The purpose of the new blog spot, to stir up the winter interest.
My husband's mushroom buy station is still getting Hedge Hogs, Black Trumpets,
Yellow Feet and a few other varieties in.
Rain, snow, hail or shine, it's open every night.
Local harvesting has not been that great this winter.
far too much logging has been done or is being done.
with the unemployed in this area, the numbers of Fall harvesters was impressive, and the Winter weather chased them away like a bad wind.

Hubby has been so persistent, thank goodness for him.
Got the contract for the land we are on, so the Buy Station is not going anywhere.
Now just gotta make money in the shop.
Come on Morel Season!
Can't wait for Spring.
I have faith it will all be fine, we just really need to keep the local harvesters picking for a fair price and hope that the influence of out of towners ( illegally picking) decreases so our local/home town families can have a better chance of getting out there in between the logging and weather and make some money.
My husband David McKenzie.
He is shaking through a basket of Yellow/Golden Chanterelles earlier this ~ Fall.

I will try to post at least a picture of whatever it is I am doing, mushrooms, crochet, flowers, Berries, road trips, what ever.... I don't really get out too often with my physical issues, however, when I do, I will, okay!

Please feel free to browse around and check out my book thru Author House.
My various blogs and to drop me aline.
I crochet, photograph, garden (flowers & garden), too many craft interests to list.
I do create/make crochet projects for people. Beanie Hats, Cloches, Caps, mittens/Gauntlets,
vests, blankets, scarves, infinity scarfs, Hoodies, hacky sacks & much more.

My latest creation from scrap yarn is this great Roman Style Blind.
My son liked this so well he asked me to make one for his kitchen door.
This one measures 23 x 34". In the bottom I used a piece of Scotch Bloom stick, cleaned down for weight.

I am a bit of a Naturalist, I cook naturally, no make ups, perfumes, sprays, nothing of the kind, I prefer
the great out doors and clean living!

I want to make some out door blinds from the Scotch Bloom, it's a very nasty plant that grows where nothing else does and has no benefits. So, I want to make a use for it!

I hope to add some photos that I think can be used as screen savers. I take a lot of Gorgeous pictures in our local Forests and I am NEVER without my Camera!
Okay, some times it appears a bit, obsessive or O.C.D.ish... Oh well, I think the pictures are gorgeous, Sunsets, Wild Life, Skunk Cabbage, Apple Trees, Mushrooms, Rocks, Oh, If I could only publish them!

See for yourself!
Is that awesome or what!?

I call it Neptune's Thrown.
While on the Umpqua River, I just had to get a picture!
Join my Blogs, follow me (on the net), I will share my pictures while on this Journey of life.
